While competing as a student-athlete on the Western Carolina Catamounts women's soccer team, I simultaneously managed and elevated the program’s social media presence through a strategic blend of design, content creation, and trend-driven engagement.

I created a wide range of custom graphics to promote games, highlight player performances, and celebrate team milestones. Each design was built to align with the program’s visual identity while still feeling fresh, modern, and engaging for a digital audience. This included game day posts, final score graphics, commitment announcements, and player spotlights that helped tell the story of the team throughout the season.

I also focused heavily on growth and engagement by leveraging current social media trends. I researched trending formats, audio, and content styles—particularly on platforms like Instagram and TikTok—and adapted them to fit the team’s brand and personality. By doing this, I helped increase reach, interaction, and overall visibility for the program, connecting with both the campus community and a broader audience of recruits, fans, and supporters.

Balancing these responsibilities alongside the demands of being a collegiate athlete strengthened my time management, creativity, and ability to execute under pressure. It also allowed me to contribute to the program in a unique way—both as a player and as a creative driving force behind its digital presence.
